Debt Issuance from A to Z - Important Topics School Administrators Need to Know
This full-day seminar brings a wide range of speakers to provide an inside look at borrowing money with bonds for both capital and operating purposes.
The basics of the types of bonds available and legal steps to authorize bonds will be covered as well as a review of some higher level topics. Attendees will learn how some local policies and operating choices actually impact the cost of borrowing, how recent State legislation has widened the borrowing options available and what Federal legislative actions may be trickling down to local borrowers and what that may mean for future bond issues.
Whether you are considering your first bond issue or a veteran CSBO with multiple bonds under your belt, there is something for everyone in this Academy!
This seminar is held in conjunction with the 2025 Annual Conference. Academy attendees are not required to be registered for the 2025 Annual Conference.
