Networking With A Purpose.
Join Illinois ASBO at the Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County in Hoffman Estates to share your passion for helping others at the 2022 Annual Conference Legacy Project! This is a great opportunity to work with community leaders while experiencing all that the caring staff at the CAC does to serve children from every walk of life.
Take part in projects across the facility to improve the daily experience for the children served at the Children's Advocacy Center including painting, cleaning and organizing.
CAC is the leading resource when it comes to child abuse. CAC coordinates the efforts of child protection staff, law enforcement professionals, family advocates, medical experts and mental health clinicians under one roof. From the Forensic Interview to the last therapy session, CAC works with our clients to ensure they are building resiliency in order to live a healthy life. All of their services are aimed at reducing trauma so that children and families may begin the healing process. CAC’s services are free of charge to every client. Registration for this event is free. All registrants will receive a complimentary t-shirt, however after April 1st, t-shirts cannot be guaranteed. Please contact Jennifer Corbin at jcorbin@iasbo.org to see if any t-shirts are still available in your size.

These projects are intended to offer Illinois ASBO members and Conference attendees an opportunity to give back to the community and connect to a valuable cause. It also offers non-golfers the opportunity to network ahead of Conference. All participants are invited to attend the Pre-Conference Hospitality held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center Tuesday evening.
