Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard

Why is it so hard to make lasting changes in our companies, in our communities and in our own lives? In their book Switch, authors Chip and Dan Heath dive into the competition for control going on between our rational and emotional minds. While the rational mind wants to change something at work, the emotional mind loves the comfort of the existing routine. Come and hear examples from the book, as well as from your peers, of what happens when we learn how to overcome this conflict and embrace change to achieve desired results.

Winning Differently: Leadership from Championship Coaches

Explore leadership traits and habits of winning coaches such as John Gooden, Phil Jackson, Lou Holtz and others. What did they do to consistently create winning teams and championship legacies? How did they lead and connect with their players to overcome obstacles? What can you learn from them to apply to the teams and people you lead at your district?

The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership

Follow these rules and people will follow you! In his book, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, John Maxwell lays out rules, such as the law of influence or the law of respect, that lay the fundamental groundwork for any leader to build their behavioral framework upon. Join us to explore how these laws can guide you in your leadership. Evaluate the areas where you are succeeding as well as those that may need further practice so you can continue to learn and grow as a leader.
