ISDLAF+ User Group Seminars are for current and prospective school district Fund participants and are designed to assist Superintendents and School Business Officials in understanding basic principles of school finance and business operations.
With increasing public focus throughout the State on school districts’ financial positions, speakers will deliver a comprehensive presentation on fund balances, including why they matter and what they are for. Presenters will also discuss the “Miller ratio” as well as Public Act 103-0394, both of which focus on a school district’s fund balance calculations and related presentation of that information to the public. A legislative update will also be provided.
